Not as nice as in the past

We’ve stayed her a number of times and found it to be ok. This time was a bit different. We were traveling with a dog so I know we don’t get the best rooms. However, the bathroom reeked of cigarette smoke and the refrigerator was defrosting all over the floor. Being a pet friendly room there was no carpet so luckily a bath towel shoved under the fridge kept us from slipping and falling. This time we were on a room at the back of the building. Right next to the train tracks. Yes they are active tracks.

When I arrived to check in, the receptionist greeted me kindly and politely. I was given a nice, clean, and tidy room. The amenities were almost complete with Dove products, amazing 👍.

Hotel is ran to be as cheap as possible

When we arrived we were told they were over booked and I would have to take a room with 2 queen beds. I told him no we had paid a month ahead of time and I wanted my room with a king bed. He left "to check my room" when we got to said room and the bathroom floor was wet (turns out the tub or toilet had a small leak) we were so tired we didn't care. The pool was the one main thing I needed and why I booked here. The pool was open but the filter was not turned on and there were dead bugs floating and on the bottom, there were chunks of hair on the floors around the pool. The breakfast options were as good as advertised in the pictures.

Poorly managed

As soon as I entered the lobby, it was the same temperature inside that it was outside, in the summer. The floors were sticky. That means the carpet was sticky. I walked up to the counter, and there was a guy on his phone and he didn’t even acknowledge that I was standing there. He was very impersonal and could care less that I was standing there when I got to the room, the floors were sticky, and there was mold on the ceiling of the bathroom. I did not take my shoes off the entire stay. Not a good place to stay at all. The entire hotel was warm and sticky. Why would someone stay here?

The hotel was okay. Fairly clean but pretty outdated and could use some TLC. Wall in bathroom was in need of a coat of paint. The back of the bathroom door looked like it was patched but never painted. It would have been nice to have a kettle in our room or a coffee pot. If you are in the area, it’s an ok place to stay, I probably wouldn’t stay again.

We stay here each year in July. The staff is always nice and helpful. The room is clean enough and adequate for our purposes. The location is perfect! Close to dining and shopping. We will continue to stay here each year.

Ok for a night or 2. We stayed here because of a music festival near by. We werent in the room much. Breakfast is typical cold cerals, breads, pancakes, oatmeal, and muffins. It held us over until we went to lunch before the festival. Good location and a lot of restaurants nearby. We'd stay again if we need to while attending the festival. It wasnt anything special, but we felt safe
