For nature lovers, quiet, 100m2 villa located on the heights of Belgentier with very large terrace and breathtaking view of the village on a plot of 1200m2 planted with olive trees, not overlooked, you can enjoy the song of the cicadas.

The swimming pool provided in this rental is that of the owners, it is located approximately 30m just behind the rental villa, and it is available to you ONLY 3 days per week from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. from Monday to Saturday.
(flexibility possible - to deal with Martine at you arrival)

Very well located 3 minutes from the village center for small shops and only 30 minutes from the beaches of Hyères, the islands of Porquerolles, Giens and Toulon, 1 hour from St Tropez or the Cassis coves.
A few steps from the property you can also go hiking along the various paths.
This rental is perfect for a family of 4 or 5 people.

The villa has reversible air conditioning in all rooms.
Not suitable for people with reduced mobility.

Nice house in a lovely location. Pleasant host however please be aware that the fantastic looking pool is located in the hosts garden and is shared, with limited access time

Merveilleux séjour dans le Var

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour de 3 semaines. La maison est spacieuse et parfaitement équipée! Climatisation dans toutes les pièces, wifi, cuisine équipée, rien ne manque ! Le calme est assuré et la vue est magnifique! Nous avons profité chaque jour de la magnifique piscine. Les enfants ont beaucoup apprécié s’y baigner. Martine est une hôte extrêmement sympathique !.

A wonderful stay

We were received by Martine (the owner) who is very friendly and helpful. A delicious gift was waiting for us! The location of the house is perfect, the terrace has a great view and we enjoyed sitting there having breakfast, dinner and having drinks. The kitchen has everything you need, the house is great. We had a lovely time at the beautiful swimming pool. We had a great time and would love to come back!

We hebben genoten van een geweldige vakantie in Villa Belgentier. Het is een prachtige ruime villa op de heuvel waar je vanaf de patio kunt genieten van een geweldig uitzicht op het dorp Belgentier. De villa is van alle faciliteiten voorzien en Martine is een geweldige gastvrouw en heel behulpzaam. Het zwembad is te bereiken via een poortje achter de villa en ligt op het terrein van eigenaresse Martine. We hebben daar tijdens de warme zomerdagen mogen genieten van het grote en mooie zwembad. De dagen en tijdstippen zijn in overleg met Martine en de familie en dat was allemaal uitstekend geregeld. Lokatie is een perfecte uitvalsbasis om naar de kust of het prachtige binnenland te gaan.

Advertentie klopt voor geen meter

Communicatie met de gastvrouw verliep onwijs moeizaam. Ratelde gewoon in het Frans door terwijl we geen woord Frans sproken en gebruik moesten maken van een vertaal app. We kregen een rondleiding waarin de meest arbitraire dingen heel duidelijk uitgelegd werden (denk hier aan hoe de lampen aan en uit gaan). Toen wij op een gegeven moment vroegen naar het Prive zwembad werd ons even heel duidelijk gemaakt dat het zwembad van de eigenaresse was en we hier maar van 19.00 tot 21.00 gebruik van mochten maken. Aangezien de advertentie aangeeft dat het hier om een prive zwembad gaat waren wij op zn minst zeer verbaasd dat dit het geval was. Na een rit van 7.5 uur waren wij volledig uitgeput en hadden we geen zin om de confrontatie met de niet engels sprekende dame aan te gaan. De volgende ochtend hebben we met VRBO gebeld die aangaf dat we dit maar zelf met de eigenaar moesten gaan oplossen en dat mevrouw zelf verandwoordelijk is voor de vertaling op de nederlandse versie van arbitel (VRBO). Op de site van Arbitel de franse versie van VRBO stond dit namelijk wel allemaal goed vermeld. Als wij namelijk eerder hadden geweten dat tijdens een hittegolf +35 graden we overdags geen gebruik konden maken van het zwembad hadden we dit huisje nooit geboekt! Daarnaast kent de douche ook maar 2 standen keiheet of onmens koud staat er alleen maar een espresso apparaat en kan er geen gewone koffie gezet worden, valt de bbq van ellende uit elkaar en was ronduit smerig bij aankomst. Geen aanrader.

Very kind owner, quick response in case of questions. Open for feedback and immediately willing to solve inconveniences. Only point of attention is the description by VBRO: “private swimming pool”, it is to be shared with the owner.
