"This was, without question, the most fabulous lake house experience we've ever had. The peninsula location gave us total privacy, yet gorgeous water right at our doorstep. Sitting on the front porch, surrounded by water on three sides, the sunrises and sunsets were genuinely unbelievable. We spent so many mornings and evenings out there just taking it all in.The sleeping arrangements were perfect for our group of seven, and the beds were so comfortable that everyone slept great every night.Having the boat made everything even better. We loved pulling right up to a restaurant on the water, and the kayaks gave us another fun way to explore. The fishing was great, the swimming was perfect, and no matter where we went, we had complete privacy. The refrigerator at the boathouse was such a thoughtful touch, making it so easy to grab snacks and drinks before heading out. We spent so many nights down there playing guitar and singing, it quickly became one of our favorite parts of the trip.On top of all this, the host's communication was unreal. Responsive from booking through checkout, answering every question and making sure we had everything we needed. It's rare to find a host this attentive.Between the privacy, boat, kayaks, fishing, swimming, boathouse nights, and incredible sunrises and sunsets, this was hands down the best lake trip we've ever taken. We're already planning our next stay! Thank you so much Rick and Karen! We loved it and so grateful!! - Inza and Ken!"

"Be aware there are not interior stairs from the lower to upper level. Lots of great outdoor seating and one of the better set up kitchens in terms of pots, pans, plates etc.It was a really nice house with comfortable and sturdy beds. Comfy couches as well. It even has decent pillows!"

"Perfection is here. Clean. Plenty of space. Comfortable beds. Well stocked kitchen. Nice dock space. Convenient location near Papa Doc’s and boat launch but on private and quiet inlet. Host was responsive and helpful and offered to help as needed. We’ll be back!"
