"The listing is accurate in that there are breathtaking lake views and there are 7 beds and a futon that can, indeed, accommodate up to 12 people. The island renumbered houses sometime in the past, so the house number is 513 and not 277. The house is lakeside and has a dock that goes out into the cool, clear waters of the lake. Gorgeous!! The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, etc., and pool towels. The house has a ton of games and everything you need for pickleball or canoeing. If you are going, be sure to ask if it is in "high season" or not--many amenities on the island are not available until it is high season. It may also help to know that a cross breeze is best at cooling the master bedroom. There is an AC unit for the top floor but by the time we discovered that and figured out how to work it, the weather had cooled outside. We were unable to get the gas fireplace to work. The owner is extremely responsive. Overall we enjoyed being on the island and the lake is so beautiful to look at and refreshing to be in."
