I live in BC. now but used to live in Barrie. This used to be a rundown hotel and we just needed somewhere to shower and dump our bags while we ran around and saw friends. Couldn’t beat the price. Plus this hotel has clearly been renovated and is a great place to stay!

Management allowed 12-15 kids terrorize an entire floor for hours on end, multiple nights. Yelling screaming, knocking on doors and stealing people’s belongings. I had to checkout of the Hotel and leave the night before I was supposed to. Management refused to offer any compensation or solution. They care about one thing renting rooms and no security or cleaning.

Night staff check-in guy was great. We checked in at 1:30 a.m. after a huge flight delay and we were exhausted. He made it quick, efficient, and most of all, he was very friendly. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Can't ask for more!

Not What we Expected

We got stranded, the parking lot wasn’t cleared after a major snowstorm. I called front desk and asked if we should cancel Our tickets in Toronto hours away, if there was no plow scheduled. She said it was coming momentarily. The plow didn’t come for another four hours. We missed the show and the opportunity for a refund. The pool Wasn’t cleaned, there were no towels, and we didn’t get the room serviced by housekeeping either. None of the vending machines worked, we will not be staying there again.
