We enjoyed football on the tv in our spacious room (two queen beds), great food in the restaurant, ping-pong in the game room, relaxation in the hot tub, fun games in the game/coffee and tea room and great ambiance in the lounge. This is a wonderful hotel with reasonable prices (breakfast included) with all the above services in one hotel located in beautiful Stowe, VT. This was our second visit and we'll be back again.

Staff should have informed that certain doors lock between certain hours. The door I went out to put my suitcase in car, locked behind me. I had to walk all the way around to the front door, all the way back down several hallways to get back to my room to get other things. Yes the door was marked, as I checked on the way back in...BUT this door the note about door was worn down AND the light was out at this door (not the others, where you may be able to read about being locked out. NO they do not have a door where you 'use your room key' and it will let you back in. Food was good.

I liked that it was pet friendly, but there wasn’t any designated pet area. Didn’t like that I was charged an additional $25 for the pet when it said $15 on line and in the guest services book in the room. The room could have done without the worn big chair. It was good there was a refrigerator and microwave, but the shelf unit blocked the ac unit a bit. Maybe something smaller would be better. Not sure if it was a cleaning product or detergent, but the room had a funny smell. I’m glad I brought my own pillow because the smell on the pillow cases was overpowering. The pillows were comfy feeling. The ac ran all night which was good. It would have drowned out any outside news. The continental breakfast was adequate. The sausage looked under cooked. There was a good selection.

I would definitely come back to this cabin for my next trip and encourage others to as well. The cabin had a little bit of a strange smell and the bed wasn't very comfortable, but overall I was happy and definitely plan to return sometime soon with more family members.
