Come and relax. Explore the Dordogne and Bastide belt. Taste the wines from Appellation Bergerac. Bike ride the roads and trails of this delightful countryside that promises sunny but not excruciatingly hot summers. The rolling fields are always rich in crops and small forests. At every turn, there are quaint villages and hamlets. Ancient church towers. Delicate streams and powerful rivers. Pilgrim routes and the remains of great battles between empires.
Located a 5-minute drive from the centre of the medieval village of Issigeac, Le Suquet offers accommodation with free WiFi, large garden, barn for events, tennis court and 11 hectares of land. Complimentary private parking is available on site.
We have 6 fully self-contained houses in authentique Dordorgne style with stone walls and slate roof. It is an adorable place to visit. We have a walking trail right behind the property that connects to the areas unrivalled trails through the Bastide region.
If you are interested in holding a wedding or big celebration, we have the most authentic venue. The "Grange" at Le Suquet is a like a Medieval banquet room with enormous fire place at one end and room for approx. 50 seated guests.
Our gardens and ancient trees can form a wonderful backdrop to a small or very large wedding. If you rent the whole property, you will have room for approximately 30 guests stay in double rooms. Give us a call.
