We did a lot of research on Hotels.com before we chose Gran Hotel Havana and we're so glad we did. It met and exceeded all expectations. The room was fantastic and the hotel's location is perfect. It's within easy walking distance of two major metro stops and is an easy walk to Las Ramblas. The rooftop pool is perfect for an afternoon relaxing session after exploring all the fantastic sites in Barcelona. The rooftop bar and restaurant food and drink are fantastic as is the staff. We dined there twice and enjoyed it each time. The breakfast buffet has a lot of tasty options to choose from and is worth a visit or two. Highly recommend two nearby spots that are within two blocks: Berry Brunch and Monster Sushi. We were there for La Merce, the annual major festival in late September and highly recommend seeing it. So many fantastic concerts, parades, fireworks and so much more. Can't wait to come back.

Great location but Hotel need to be updated. 4 star , $470 per night for basic room and carpets in common areas were filthy and a smelled not fresh. I waited from evening till morning ( second time visit front desk ) for iron board and in the morning they brought me dirty iron board( black oil ). Very disappointed I would not recommend .

The staff was welcoming and friendly. Answered all questions we had and helped direct us to the right places. The room Was clean and everything well kept. There were many places to eat nearby and the shops were not far away. The restaurant was great and Jesus was a very attentive server.

Well situated and well serviced area, the hotel itself was good and provided everything we may need during our stay. I found the staff mostly pleasant and accommodating. We were upgraded to an atrium room but found this was a bit of a let down as it was directly below the roof top bar and therefore we could hear footsteps and chairs scraping back and forth until 1am when the bar closed. Due to enjoying the area we never needed to sleep early but found that it did take away from the enjoyment of the room. Overall I would stay here again but would specifically asks for a room away from the top floor/bar area

Overall, the hotel was fine. The problem was the room i had on the 6 the floor (611). Someone was moving furniture, next door o'r sir and making a lot of noise on the wooden floors until 1am. Each time I was about to ring the front desk the noise stopped. Happy that I booked another hotel for my final 2 nights in town.

We stayed at this property in August 2025 for 3 days . 1st Day we had paid for family room but they were not sure that we were getting 1 room or 2 rooms , so that created some ruckus , you go into the room they are really dingy , didn't expect t from the photos online. The breakfast is 20 Euros with a very very limited (no good) breakfast . Coming 3rd day our keys stopped working . We would come down to get the keys done and go up the keys don't work . Every time
