The staff was very helpful and cheerful at all time which made us feel very welcome. Issues encountered was first night they gave us a handicap room and the hot water did not work, I asked for an iron that was provided but did not work. The rooms can use a little bit of an upgrade for the price we paid.

Hotel is very old so condition was poor. Location was good but extremely noisy from outside. Air conditioner did not work - room was 28 C - front desk unable to provide any relief ie. repair, room change, fan

Great base for a work trip. Hotel rooms could do with a little TLC but nothing that will Impact your stay. Comfy bed, good TV and a great shower. Brilliant location within the city and staff were fantastic. The gentleman in the morning gave us a couple of recommendations for breakfast and both were brilliant.

Basic but excellent location

Very easy to find, close to metro station and a bus stop, in a small alley but well-lit & next the the theatre so quite a busy route. The glass doors were in a bad shape, they have been badly broken and no signs of them being repaired while we were there. The reception staff are LOVELY, so helpful and polite and speak excellent English. The room was quite spacious for a European city. The curtains were a bit tatty, had holes in and dirly marks, the lamp shades were badly stained and had a layer of dust on. The towels weren't changed for us on one of the days, we had to re-use the ones we'd left on the floor which wasn't great, we should have rung down to reception but we decided just to reuse. The bed was quite hard, very comfortable for me but not for my mum who I was sharing a room with. No USB ports in the room but plenty of plug sockets if you have an EU adapter. Nice big TV and if you have a Netflix account you can watch it there. No bath in our room but the shower is ok, shower gel nice enough but bring your own shampoo as the hotel shampoo isn't great quality. Very noisy door slamming from our room neighbours, but that's not the hotels fault. Excellent location for La Ramblas and the shops around Placa de Catalunya. Lots of places to eat nearby and I didn't find them that pricey despite what I'd read beforehand. I kept my valuables close by and never experienced any pickpockets which I was warned about before my trip.

We booked a double room but recieved 2 single beds. Our room had no locking mechanism on the door so all our belongings were insecure and left us feeling unsafe during the night. The hotel looks nothing like the images. The front of the hotel had a smashed glass front to start with which again made us feel unsafe.

We found that the staff went above and beyond to make certain that we enjoyed their city to the fullest. Not only did they point out highlights, they also asked us questions about our own interests and time frames Then they offered suggestions that we could choose. Particular special mention to Carlos and Nacho, two of their great staff, with whom we dealt with the most. We look forward to seeing them again.

The location is very convenient and all staff were very friendly. The fan in the bathroom was very noisy and there was no soap dish and we had to leave the soap on the bench, which was messy.

Nice hotel. Excellent and very friendly and helpful staff. No food available on site but available very close by. Also convenient to attractions by using metro stop very close to hotel. Staff gave great explanations for using metro. Walkable to some attractions. Staff loaned umbrellas to us when needed. Room was was small. Did not seem to have working air conditioning. Would recommend based on location and excel staff.

Horrible Hotel Stay

The listing said there would be Air-Conditioning and there was not. They had a unit in the room that blew warm air out. Sleeping at night was miserable with no air. Bed is uncomfortable, I woke up with a neck and back ache. The kind that stays for days. The older gentleman that worked nights was rude. He said they turn the AC off if it isn’t summer but yet it’s 75 degrees out. Completely regretting staying there and I wish there was a review like mine to read so I never would have.

Great Hotel and Team

I was in Barcelona for business and looking for an affordable, comfortable and central hotel and Im pleased to say I found it in Dalia Ramblas! Ideally situated on Las Ramblas near all the entertainment. Very close to the Metro if you wanted to get around. Carlos who greeted me throughout my stay was and excellent host. Really good guy, remembered me by name and provided some guidance on how to get to the places I needed to for the event I was in town for. The two ladies who were also there during my stay were excellent too. The room had everything I needed for my stay and was set back from the noise of the main street. As a frequent business traveller I highly recommend this hotel!
