Property only had upstairs rooms - NO ELEVATOR - They assigned us an upstairs room. We are both over 70 years old and had to haul luggage up 2 flights of stairs. The lack of an elevator was never mentioned in the advertising nor reservation process with Expedia. Major problem.

We DID NOT STAY. A friend I was traveling with has asthma. The quality of the air was not good for her. The humidifier was moldy(in the back), the air conditioner was an old one that was barely putting out air. The room was damp and musty. The guy at front desk was WONDERFUL and even tried switching rooms—BUT the second room was the same.

Seemed expensive for a very old property. Old mattresses that were lumpy and hard with only a metal frame - no box springs, no support. Room itself was clean but stairway and area around ice machine were dirty. Very difficult getting out of parking lot as the hotel is right on a turn on the main (very busy) road. Would not stay here again, even though the staff was lovely and helpful.

Was a great stay and not too pricey. Room was clean and spacious. Not too far from downown, but there is free bus rides for the Common Green every half hour, and a stop right across from the entrance. Very quiet, even though we were on the first floor, and both levels were full.

Easy check in but I had asked in advance for a room with a water view. Never got a response. Upon check in I was told the type of room I booked did not have a water view. Would’ve been nice to know that in advance… I would’ve changed to a king bed. We were putting the worst room on the property (very end, windows looked out over a column, bushes, and trash bins (10 feet in front of us). Beds were comfy but I wouldn’t stay there again based on the lack of communication.

I booked this hotel online an hour before arrival as we are just driving and stopping where we end for the day. Expedia’s site said two rooms available pictures stating ocean views with balcony and continental breakfast. Upon arrival the girl at the desk said no rooms available all booked. Then transferred our room to the Regency across the street first floor facing the parking lot had to keep shades drawn to stop headlights shining in all night. Breakfast was additional. Will never go to this Days Inn as they did the same too us a year ago. Expedia should do something about this problem if they are full it should state no rooms available.

Loved the proximity to Acadia National Park visitor center. The amenities and staff were excellent and very helpful. What we did not like was the limited amount of parking spaces that, at night, were mostly occupied. Luckily, the staff was helpful in finding alternative ways of parking. Overall, an excellent experience. Recomand.

Room was very humid, despite keeping the AC on and the window open. No fan in the bathroom so showers left the bathroom very humid and moist. Very tight quarters, even getting in the door was a squeeze.

Very disappointed with staff. Breakfast was not as pictured. No real cooked food. Prepared packaged food, ran out of coffee cups, knives and other items. No one at the front desk most of the time. No egg or meat dishes, toast, waffles or pancakes like Best Western! We certainly will not recommend Days Inn to anyone. We will choose Best Western always! A partial refund should be given to guest since we had to go to a restaurant for a healthy substancial breakfast! Please respond!
