Bar Harbor Small 1BR Condo: All You Need for your Getaway. Ideal Location!

I purchased this small condo in early 2022 as my winter home: I am making a film about Acadia and I use this space as my launching pad and winter respite. Upgrades: Two Aventon eBikes with custom seats, 7.2.2 Dolby Atmos new home theater with 85" Sony HDR TV, Le Creuset cookware, bakeware, and serve ware, refrigerator, dishwasher, high-end bedframe, luxury bed and bedding, new desk with dedicated HDR monitor and workstation, a ductless heater and air conditioner, double-reclining LazyBoy leather couch, full-size washer and dryer, renovated bathroom, quartz countertops, and charcoal grill.
Please read reviews posted for my first three seasons. I treat my guests as if they were my own family. A portion of rental income goes to two charities I love: Friends of Acadia and PAATH, a Maine veterans organization. I have donated $1,000 to the same non-profits this year (2024) as well. This one-bedroom efficiency condo is located at ground level for easy access and has the best location of any property on Mount Desert Island! You will be able to reach most eastern MDI hiking locations in Acadia National Park within 15 minutes from this downtown Bar Harbor location. When you return home after a day of hiking, you can park in your own off-street parking spot directly in front of your condo... and walk virtually anywhere in The village of Bar Harbor in 10 minutes! This is crucial because ANP has become one of the highest demand locations in the United States: Without dedicated parking it is near impossible to visit the village or dine at one of our many restaurants. Alternately you can bike to the park with the fully charged eBikes and skip the traffic congestion entirely!
The Village contains 99% of all restaurants, shops, bars and cafés on the entire island…and they are all within a 10 minute walk from the condo! This small two room efficiency home is appointed with a living room with exceptional natural light, a small dining table for two, and a kitchenette with full-size appliances to prepare your own food. I have the only wood-burning fireplace available in downtown Bar Harbor. I leave puhlenty of firewood on the property. Nothing beats a nice fire after a long day of hiking in Acadia during autumn, winter, and early spring!
The bedroom contains a magnificent king-size bed from Helix. The lovely solid wood frame comes from Tuft and Needle. All bedding, including down pillows and comforter are from Boll and Branch- the best available bedding and linen you can buy! I installed a new heat/AC unit in May 2023 so you can keep the window closed at night if you prefer.
It also includes a small desk with a 34-inch Apple XDR (HDR) Display, keyboard, and left and right-handed mice as well as an OWC Thunderbolt Pro charging and media station for XD, CFAST, and CF Express cards. I also provide a new B/W laser printer (paper and backup cartridges included) as well as a quality portable Epson document scanner. The internet connection is 350+mbps and is highly reliable. I leverage the best available modem/routers/WIFI from Nighthawk. I have a brand new Herman Miller Aeron chair with a nice glass floor mat.
The two new eBikes are very easy to ride and have superb hydraulic brakes too. I use them to access distant locations as well as largely inaccessible carriage roads built by the Duponts and Rockefellers in the 1920s. This is the only property in Bar Harbor to include eBikes with the property rental! The bikes are engineered so that you can allow the bike to assist you while peddling as much or as little as you desire. I have high quality helmets available for your use. Safety first!
Enjoy your morning coffee on the sunny patio, fill your day with hiking, biking and sea kayaking, walk 10 minutes to a slew of exceptional restaurants, and return home to watch your favorite movies on my Apple TV(600+ movies to choose from including all 2025 Oscar nominees). The unit also includes a brand new (2024) full-size washer and dryer should you need it. Woolite and Downy are provided as are stain removers and dryer sheets.
No pets or smoking please.
