Wonderful stay at Ramada Plaza Riverside

We had a very enjoyable experience staying at the Ramada Plaza Riverside Hotel during our recent visit to Bangkok. Their staff is friendly & professional. Their property has a huge outdoor swimming pool, a nice indoor/outdoor dining room facing the Chao Phraya River, great buffet with lots of both Thai & non-Thai food options. It’s conveniently close to Asiatique Night Market where there are lots of restaurants, bars, and souvenir shops.

I love the river location, and shuttleboat service to Sathorn Pier. I also like the pool and nearby “Chef Jack Steak and More,” a locally owned family business that serves great Thai food. The hotel offers good value for the money.

5 nights enjoying the sights and tastes of Bangkok. Ramada is centrally located. Easy to get to must see attractions. Asiatique is 10 minute walk. Staff was friendly throughout the facility. Great value for your money.

The hotel itself was lovely and very clean. The pool was nice, however it rarely gets sun in the pool area, if any, due to the high rise buildings around the front and side of the hotel. There were 3 sun loungers by the river as the hotel has one side that backs onto the water and that had lots of sunshine and then there was maybe 4 loungers on a seating area above the pool so a spot in the sun is slim. The pool is very cold as it doesn’t have any sun on it and most residents struggled with how cold the water was considering the temp outside is in the 30’s. We were there for 4 days and the hotel was nice but if you are looking for a spot of sunbathing by the pool, I would think again. If you want to lounge around the pool and always be in the shade ( helpful with kids) this is a great hotel. Hope that helps

Nice Terrace 72 for excellent breakfast buffet.Wonderfull place to have diner at the terrace by the riverfront with live music.Ms Mae was excellent singer who draws a lot of praises and applauses every.

Excellent location. Walking distance to Asiarique and hotel offers complimentary (one way) daily boat service to Central Pier. Staff are very helpful too. My husband left his mobile phone in the cab and the hotel staff assisted in contacying the driver. We haven't had the chance to usr the ameneties so couldn't comment on those :)

Good location... some construcion happening next to our room causing lots of banging. We were told we could move to another room, however we are completely settled in for 4 days and dont really want to pack up and unpack. Lets hope today is better.
