Front desk staff were barely friendly, but efficient. mostly the room is dingy, and there were dirty, oily handprints on the wall near the bed. 😳

Hotel was good , bit dated but room was a very good size , I had the corner balcony room , bed was very soft , bathroom was huge big rainfall shower and a bath. TV channels was very limited but ubdint go to Bangkok to stay in the room hahaha. My only gripe and it's a small one is the cups in the room for tea and coffee were tiny , get bigger cups or mugs mermaid please. All the staff were excellent tho, great stay.

Hotel Mermaid Bangkok is a rip-off. They scammed me out of 4,000 baht for a single bedsheet, two towels, and a blanket cover over a blood stain that could easily be washed. Staff are rude, unhelpful, and take 45+ minutes just to bring water to the room. Service is terrible. I’ve stayed here twice before, but never again. This place survives by overcharging and mistreating guests. Stay far away.

This was my second trip to Bangkok, Thailand. It was also my second stay at Hotel Mermaid. I love the friendly staff! I told them I would stay again when I returned to Thailand and i did. What a great hotel in an awesome location! It was fun to see familiar faces at the hotel and in the neighborhood. 😊

Lovely stay at this charming hotel in Bangkok! Staff were so friendly and helpful, pool was great after long hot days and it’s in a very good location on the Sukhumvit road. Lots of bars, restaurants and shops easily walkable and it’s just off the road so it’s quiet. Metro and overground train stations also very nearby.
