The best part of this property is the access to the beach. Its somewhat a private beach for the property itself. The breakfast layout was good, with Live egg & Roti-Pratha counter. The staff is very helpful & polite to converse with. Although an old property but with its rustic look it even gets better. Will positively stay again whenever we visit Desaru next.

The resort is very quiet (not sure if it's due to low season and my checking in on a Wednesday night). The private beach is very good, quiet and only 1-2 pax around. The whole resort is quiet. For people who likes it peaceful and quiet, this is nice. The disappointment is in the TV (not working, zero channels working after technician troubleshoot for 10mins). This should have been avoided by ensuring simple things like TV is working well before guests arrival. The kettle in the room has a loose handle that could break off under the weight of a full jug. Hotel offered to change my room but I declined to save the hassle. Hope they can rectify these items for the next guest. Room 236. Breakfast spread is not the luxurious type but is adequate with strong local and nonya flavours, I am happy with it. The coffee and tea and juice needs improvement, though. The private beach makes up for everything. Overall, I am happy with it. 8 of 10.

I like the fake creepers wrapped around pillars and covered the ceilings. Very nice touch. This time we got a very clean room with strong air-con. Breakfast buffet spread have a good variety and taste good but one let fown is the coffee. Need to improve the quality of the coffee. Service staff are very polite, cheerful and helpful.
