No clock in the room. Batteries were flat in the remote. No booklet to say where to eat, where to have breakfast, something for tourists to know what to do in Bairnsdale.

Good overnight stay. Strong smell of ‘Glen’ 20 quite over powering. Smoking area should be well away from the rooms. As neighbours smoked and it wafted into our room. Owner was obliging and let us have access early even tho the room wasn’t quite ready.

the experience fell short of expectations
The room had an unpleasant smell, and the furniture seemed outdated. There was no air conditioning, leading to poor air circulation. The bed covers did not appear to be freshly washed, and the beds were both uncomfortable and small. It was not a family-friendly environment, and the presence of many cigarette ends outside was noticeable. Overall, the experience fell short of expectations
