My husband and I stayed at Bailey Bear Haus with my mil & three kids (9,6,4).
Cons:
- The cabin is a bit out of the way. About 15 minutes outside of Bailey proper, and 20 minutes from the nearest Safeway/King Sooper's in Conifer. If you plan to stay at the cabin for the entirety of your trip, stock up on your food/essentials so you don't have to go back and forth into town. A Loaf & Jug gas station & Dollar General are about 10 mins. from the cabin.
- The basement level has bunk beds, but it was uncomfortably cold. We expected our boys to sleep down there, but they ended up sleeping in the top floor loft (1 on the couch, and 2 on a pallet on the floor) outside of the master. With little kids, this wasn't much of an inconvenience, but it might be for older/bigger people. A space heater downstairs would make all the difference.
- While not an issue for us, the 2 TVs are on the top level only. One in master, one in loft at top of stairs.
Pros:
- Very clean
- Detailed and easy to follow instructions
- Spacious for our crew of 6
- Loved the bluetooth speaker on main level
- Outside gas fire pit was perfect for s'mores
- Views off the balcony & upper level loft were great for drinking coffee in the mornings and relaxing in the evenings
- Excellent communication with host, Michael. He even called me before our stay to give sightseeing & fishing ideas.
- Easy peasy checkin/checkout.
An overall wonderful stay in a beautiful setting. Would definitely recommend!
