Just a few blocks from the Colorado River, this townhouse is close to downtown but in a quiet enough neighborhood that you'll feel far from the hustle and bustle. The full kitchen is perfect for cooking up full meals to enjoy at the end of a long day of exploring. The walled-in private patio is perfect for dinners or just enjoying a book and a glass of wine.

What's nearby:
Central Austin has its own unique character, even though downtown is only three-and-a-half miles away. Enjoy a cupcake at Mozart's Coffee Roasters or pick up some Buffalo Cauliflower Wings at the Beer Plant, both within one mile of the townhouse. Rent a canoe or kayak and explore Lady Bird Lake three-and-a-half miles out, or have a jog around Ann and Roy Butler Hike and Bike Trail (which runs up and down the river). Of course, you have to take a picture with the Greeting From Austin Mural before you leave - it's just five miles out, and you'll be able to explore the Bouldin Creek neighborhood!

As others have noted this is a wonderful location in a quiet, beautiful neighborhood. We were literally minutes away from most of the locations in central Austin we needed to visit. The townhouse itself was especially roomy and pleasant and a very good value for the price. I've not seen as large or pleasant a bedroom in all the similar properties we reviewed and to top it off the bed was very comfortable. We had a small initial problem with the combination front door lock but with a little practice we mastered the lock. We'll definitely rebook this townhouse for our future visits to Austin.

Great location, great place to rest

We loved staying here, it's a beautiful neighborhood with walking distance to Mozarts coffee. We particularly enjoyed the sunlight inside the bedroom which was a fantastic way to appreciate the lightning at night. The bed was super comfortable which is a surprisingly big difference from most houses we've stayed at.

Tranquil getaway!

We came with our dog for a weekend and had a lovely and restful time. Beautiful neighborhood with huge trees and we loved walking to Mozart's! Very clean and had everything we needed in the kitchen. Can't wait to come back.

Wonderful stay

It was next door to my daughter who gave birth and needed my husband and me close by. The location is great, within walking distance to the lake. The home is comfortable, clean and a nice large space with an outdoor patio and chairs. Truly it was perfect for us.
