Good looking hotel, nicely decorated, and nice staff. But it has been finished on a budget, really average beds and no air conditioning (not very nice in humid Auckland weather, I can only imagine it’s horrible during really hot weather)

I would not recommend staying at this property due solely to the fact that no rooms are air conditioned and the temperatures are uncomfortable to say the least. A room fan, fresh air ducting and minimally opened windows do not prevent an uncomfortable night’s sleep in what are very confined rooms.

Went to check in at 1:45pm was given my room and went to my Room and it had not been cleaned. Went downstairs to wait. No one came to tell me when it was ready. At checkout got told I needed to pay for parking. I didn’t use parking. I got told to pay for an extra person. I didn’t have an extra person in my Room. The room next door was noisey all night and I had a terrible sleep. The room was too hot as well. Nice looking hotel and good enough room but terrible experience.

Convenient location just off K'Rd and close to Queen Street shops, and all CBD. Room was small but modern and clean, corridors are dingey, nothing to complain about at the price. I'd stay here again when I'm paying, but probably at a fancier place when someone else is paying.

Excellent Value. Close to some good eateries. A nice change from other places we have stayed that were dearer. Only negative is we had no cooling other than a Dyson unit and opening the windows. Maybe not putting in heat pumps is going to save the planet but that eco stuff is at the expense of being comfortable. Would go back though.

Hot and dusty

Room was small as expected however the lack of privacy from bedroom window was concerning. Room was filled with dust and there was no air con. Went in peak summer heat and it was cooler outside than in that room. Had an oven but nothing to cook or cut with.
