I felt immediate disappointment when pulling into the house. It's in a not so great neighborhood, and it's not very appealing on the outside. It is immediately off of a busy road, on a corner, so the noise is awful. My family and I had trouble sleeping. My daughter was scared and couldn't sleep because of the road noise. The neighbors directly behind the house have two yard dogs that are kept outside at night, so the first night, the dogs were barking at something for hours. When you enter the house, you can tell a lot of effort was put into the decor and fixtures. While that's nice, the house slopes in every direction. The dining table is visibly on an incline causing food to slide off. In the back room, you will literally be sleeping with your head pointing down because the room slopes so badly. Great decor and interior design, but the house needs to be torn down so that the foundation can be made level. We spent several minutes trying to get into the front door. Wasps were swarming because there were two big wasp nests at the front door. I told the property owner and shared photos, but he did nothing. No one came out to address the issue the whole weekend. If you don't care about the noise, the neighborhood, or having issues go unaddressed during your stay, then you'd have no problem with this house. I would never stay here again. In fact, I booked for three nights, but we left early because none of my family members could tolerate spending another sleepless night here.
