Dining was extraordinary! Beyond their restaraunt plenty of options in the area. Would have given a higher rating for the room, but the bathroom door was broken and would not shut. A little confusing on check in. We really enjoyed being steps away from the active area.

Loud. The party from the restaurants and bars went on until 2am. Checkin instructions did not make sense. No office staff. Almost walked away to another hotel.

Stayed here twice. Room 110 (balcony, new bathroom) is better than room 103 (broken shower, no balcony, but fewer stairs). The service was excellent, we had to store some luggage for a few days due to an unexpected travel issue and they were very helpful with that and arranging airport transportation. The neighborhood is chock full of restaurants and shops and is close to the acropolis. Definitely recommend but be ready to climb some stairs, there's no elevator.

The property is in the perfect location in the Plaka adjacent to many restaurants and plenty of tourist shopping. You can easily walk to any of the sites in Athen you came to see. As others mentioned, the entrance is hard to find...we were lucky that one of the restaurant staff (yes, it is run by the restaurant) saw us lost and asked us if we were looking for the hotel. The room was nice, though the exit sign in the room kept the room bright at night. The breakfast was awesome, but the wait staff was not entirely friendly. Oh...and as in many older European neighborhoods, there is no elevator, so that means carrying your luggage up a few flights of stairs. All in all, it is a nice place as long as you are prepared for searching for the entrance and don't mind a walk up.

The accommodation was comfortable and clean. If you have mobility issues i would not recommend as there are only stairs. Coffee facilities in room and breakfast included down stairs in the restaurant which was very nice. The dining options were amazing and great shopping around the hotel as well

we stayed for only the overnight, nothing remarkable but exactly what we needed. felt safe and was in a good location, held our bags. a bit confusing with the restaurant doing the customer services for the hotel. we had a late check in and the restaurant people were lovely, great included breakfast. responsive on messaging so that was great!

Staff were so helpful and had my room ready before check in due to my early arrival, even made me a delicious coffee and breakfast while I waited. Room was cozy and the bottle of wine was a great touch. Fantastic location with eateries and shops all around and so close to the attractions. Only disappointment was that I only stayed for 2 nights, wish I had stayed longer as was the highlight of my trip!

The property was perfectly located. The room felt much nicer than I expected it to be. (We had the navy wallpaper room. In the pictures it looks gothic). Even though the building doesn’t have a lobby staff, the hotel/restaurant staff across from the hotel were there to help and give entry instructions. We couldn’t have found a better situated hotel room.

The hotel is well-located in the Plaka district of Athens - maybe five blocks from the entrance to the Acropolis. The room was very clean and comfortable and it had wonderful air conditioning. The temps in Athens were hotter than expected - topping out at 38 C - so it was great to come home to a cool and comfortable room. While the hotel is located on a square with a number of restaurants, I was on an upper floor and experienced very little crowd noise. It was easy to travel from the hotel to Syntagma Metro station for some of the little day trips I had planned. My only complaint was the WiFi available. The signal never seemed very strong and often the WiFi would just cut out in the middle of a task I was trying to complete. Fortunately, the restaurants in the area had great WiFi so I would save tasks until I was eating. The hotel has no elevator. My room was up two flights of stairs and I did not find climbing stairs to be much of a problem. The bathroom had a large shower and the toiletries all had excellent scent. All in all, I had a great vacation stay!

While the room was tiny it was spotless and very quiet. There are probably 30 restaurants within a 5 minute walk. Easy walk to the start of the Acropolis tour. Vasilikh from the restaurant next door helped us with getting a taxi which can be an adventure in Athens

We were a bit worried after reading some of the negative reviews, but the hotel was actually nice. It did not feel unsafe at all. It is in an alley, but the alley felt pretty normal for someone growing up in Europe and in no way unsafe. It is only a few meters away from a very busy square with a lot of restaurants. Staff was super friendly and accommodating. You can just check in with the staff from the restaurant, which is the same property .
