Location was a pretty easy walk to campus and restaurants. Suite was large and comfortable. Kids loved the game room with pool table, shuffle board, and board games. Parents loved the bar. Gym had plenty of options. Breakfast was better than usual for this level of hotel. Check-in was a bit slow, but the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Very good location to attend a show at the Akins center. Did not like that we had to pay additional for parking. The room was very nice and we enjoyed our stay. Very quiet location which was a nice surprise.

The hotel shares parking, this was confusing at 1st but after a couple of trips in and out I was able to park with the elevator close by. The elevator needs better signage. Elevators need the word ELEVATOR painted on the outside back wall in bold letters

Great location with easy access to UGA and downtown Athens. The bed was a little firmer than I would have chosen personally, however it was reasonable as a choice for general use. Initial check-in had a hiccup as the rooms had not been checked off as cleaned or not, so there was some delay in being able to access my room. The staff was very accommodating and held my bags at the desk while I went to dinner. Once I returned, everything was ready.

It was our first time booking with Homewood Suites. Overall we were very pleased with the hotel, really nice facility good breakfast. A few things to note. The water was cold and the pressure low. It took a long time to warm up and it was luke warm at best. Secondly change the shower tub combo to a shower. The tub was high and slippery. You had to exercise caution getting in and out .

Good, but not premium.

Overall, our stay was really good. The staff at the front desk was exceptional. They were very helpful and made great dinner recommendations. Our only complaint is that we paid for a premium suite and the view from the bedroom was a first floor view of an alley with some old railroad tracks. After we had been in the room about 20 minutes, a van parked in the alley. From that point forward, our view was of the side of the van. The suite was fine and clean and fairly comfortable, but I don’t know that I would market it as a premium suite And charge a higher rate.

This place is a gem! It’s right behind the Classic Center, so central to everything. Rooms are spacious, with a kitchenette. And it’s always among the least expensive options.
