Really enjoyed our stay at Beech Haven. Everything was great. We arrived late and there was an issue with the lock on the door. The host was very prompt and responsive and got us in quickly. Looking forward to staying here again in the future.

Super clean, cute cottage in a wooded area just off Broad Street. It was freezing cold during our stay, so we didn't get to enjoy the deck or outside space, but we did see deer one evening. The house was toasty warm. Kitchen and bathrooms were very well supplied. Downstairs bedroom and bath were accessed via a fairly steep staircase, but the host had thoughtfully supplied a child gate, just in case.

This place was perfect for our time in Athens. Sits off the road, in a cluster of wooded home sites. While “in the woods,” it felt incredibly safe. The place is small, but you can tell the owners have put a lot of thought into all the small details. The kitchen had an assortment of teas and Keurig cups; the baths had small soaps and shampoos. The back deck overlooking the woods is a big plus. This was a nice change from staying downtown and we would definitely stay again!

This little cottage in the city was perfect for our stay while getting our son settled into his apartment for grad school. He needed to stay with us a couple nights until his furniture was all set up and having his own space in the lower level was fantastic! This clean, quiet, and comfortable cottage offered all the amenities of home in a beautiful, calming, wooded setting.

Nature bathing at its best

This cottage in the woods was nature bathing at its best. What a lovely spot! Easy to get to dining and shops and hidden away at the same time. Very peaceful. We spent a lot of time on the balcony enjoying the view. Living spaces were all comfortable and clean. The only glitch was difficulty figuring out the correct house address in the dark when we arrived. Otherwise highly recommend!

My wife and i stayed here for the weekend of GDay. Nice quiet location only a few miles from the stadium. Recommend this place to anyone. Will stay again if we ever come back in town.

A Gem in the Woods

Charming, clean, and great location. We loved staying here and travel often to Athens and would love to book again. The location is very close to downtown yet it's tucked away in a woodsy beautiful setting and you feel far away from the city. Absolutely perfect.

Quiet home

The home was clean. It was nice that the home is secluded but in the midfle of everything Athens had to offer. It is an older home, but i liked that and really appeciated that there was an entire history of the cottage and the surrounding homes in the binder with checkout instructions.

Very cozy

The living room is lovely. Kitchen very well equipped Need a light in dining room. Porch needed pressure washing. Very beautiful out there. We’re all over 80. Wanted to visit and play games. A little trouble getting in and out. Not bad. Needed to know about downstairs bedroom. Very difficult. Bed leaves much to be desired downstairs. Upstairs fine. Lovely all in all. Close to everything. Beautiful setting. Thank you

Zero Communication From Host

I will preface this by saying I cannot speak to the cleanliness, accuracy of listing, or location because I never actually made it to the property. We had an emergency that made us unable to travel the day before we were supposed to arrive. I sent a message to the host through the app, texted her, called and left a message and got zero response. I knew that I was not going to get a refund on such short notice but it would have been nice if the host would have at least been bothered enough to respond to maybe work something out. If you book this place which seem very nice, do not expect a response if you have any questions at all before or during your stay. Not a good way to do business, so for that reason I would not recommend!
