Cozy Studio at TOP of Aspen Alps Condos
We had a wedding event to attend at the top of Aspen Mtn, so walking proximity to the Silver Queen Gondola was part of our criteria. Aspen Alps is very close, but what we didn't realize was that our particular unit was at the very top of Aspen Alps,quite an uphill hike for dress shoes and heels. Check in at the main office was very easy, and from there we discovered a free shuttle service to help us out, and the ability to park near the bottom of the property if needed. It rained/snowed the evening of the wedding, so we were happy to have figured all this out.
The unit itself was clean, nice, and comfortable. Our only complaint was that it was too warm for sleeping, and the only way to cool down was to open the front door and small window in the kitchen to try and force a breeze. The larger window had no screen on it. In hindsight, we could have probably gotten a better value elsewhere, but the owner canceled our previous reservation through VRBO with only one month's notice.
