First time to Okaboji

We take our neices and nephew "camping" each year, with recent years utilizing more condos than cabins! We chose Okaboji because family moved to the area, and we wanted to visit them as well. The condo offered a lot of amenities we thought the kids would love. Even though they did not visit the water park, they did use the fitness room and visited the ice cre stand. It qas great for our stay!

Great location and host

The condo itself was clean and well cared for. We had an issue initially with the internet, but she was quick to respond with where the router was and we got it rebooted. The building was under construction, which we didn't know about before arrival. Construction workers were banging around at 7 a.m., which wasn't great but not in the owner's control. Overall, great stay.

Excellent location. Living area & kitchen very nice. Balcony full of spider webs & after reading info from owner on balcony being unsafe, we didn’t spend much time on it. Bedroom pillows were all flat. Bedrooms need nightstands on each side, instead of just one. Bedrooms are quiet & you don’t hear outside noises.

We love this little gem.

We love this condo so much!! you can tell that there is pride in their property. Beds are very comfortable. We have stayed here twice now. One time with kids and one time with adults only. Janel is very easy to contact and get a hold of. She knew that we had stayed here earlier this spring, and knew that we would take care of her home. Great place to stay in Okoboji, Iowa. Private, quiet but close to all other acitivities. Condo exceptionally clean and actually has a good amount of supplies to keep it that way during our stay which was super helpful with four kids. Plenty of space for our family of six. So refreshing to have enough towels, wash clothes etc. Extra parking nearby where we were able to park our boat. Loved having access to workout room and pools. Kitchen well stocked with supplies including crockpot and blender. (Would suggest adding a cheese grater and a muffin tin to the kitchen-1st world issues ;-)). Would stay again without question.

We couldn’t be happier with our experience! Very clean and updated condo. Nice deck with grill which can be accessed from living room and master bedroom. Great view of the lake! We had several family members staying in another condo and a cabin. Ours was much nicer in both roominess and the view. Large open area from kitchen to dining area to living room to deck. Host was great to deal with when I had questions before arrival.
