Fabulous hotel

We had a lovely stay, the hotel is in an excellent location, all the staff we encountered were friendly and the facilities were outstanding. Room was well equipped and bed really comfy.

Welcoming staff and clean rooms but let down by poor soundproofing between rooms and into corridors. Pool and Gym facilities are good though only open at 6.30am and pool is very small. Very convenient location for the city centre but little disappointed to have to pay for parking onto of hotel stay.

Overall a good stay

Staff absolutely exceptional, their customer service is second to none. A bit tired looking in places but overall totally ok and clean. Toddlers are only allowed to the pool at certain times and there might be a wait depending on their pool capacity. Heating in the rooms is on full blast, we switched it off and had it off for 3 days we stayed, opened the window to get some air in but still had to use the fan overnight. Mind, probably better than being in a freezing room but slightly better room temperature control would be useful. If you are travelling with a toddler and you want to use the tv for a movie night or just everybody watching something together, take your laptop with an hdmi slot. Our 2 phones did not connect to the tv nor did the hdmi and converter work with the tablet.

Almost excellent

Excellent facilities and a bright modern hotel. The food in the restaurant was also very good. The only problems were the room was way too hot and the lifts were in a poor state of repair with only one working. Its a good hotel but could be a bit better with a little more effort.

Busy and not enough Staff

Hotel very busy but not enough staff , had tea on Saturday night , service was terrible, drinks service wasn’t great either very slow. Breakfast was ok for choice but quite limited continental, full cooked breakfast wasn’t great. The room was warm and clean. Bit tough hotel residents had to pay for parking! Our 4 night stay was fine but service and food let it down.

The sound proof is ok. You can hear clearly when someone walking pass. I could not get proper sleep because people walking along the corridor 2am !!!!!

Enjoyable stay.

We had an overnight stay passing through Dundee to see our daughter. The hotel was clean the pool and room good and the breakfast was very good. We will definitely be using this hotel the next time we are in Dundee.
