"Really nice friendly staff in a historic building. The WiFi was reliable and the bathroom was nicely appointed. The shower was a glass cubicle in the room due to the constraints of the old building. It's pretty echoey in there (again because of the old building) and the floor in the room is wooden floorboards with gaps in them big enough to lose a ring down, so maybe don't bring your favourite jewellery! It was very squeaky to walk around. In addition, there was no bedside table which was a shame, instead some ugly metal lockers which presumably were meant to fit the jail "theme". Overall it was fine and well worth staying if you are fascinated with the history, perhaps if you prefer comfort and quiet, you should choose a more modern hotel! "

"Great view of the small pond and city. Wonderful staff. Nice room. I was not fond of the super soft pellow, but the bed was nice."

"The apartment we had was well furnished and had a nice and quiet backyard. Unfortunately it was very moist inside. The bathroom is poorly designed. It has a shower, but no bathtub even though there would be more than enough space. There is a washing machine, but nothing to dry the wet clothes. Apparently there is one beer and a water for free in the apartment. Because it was not indicated as such, we didn’t take advantage of that as we didn’t wanted to be charged the usually expensive prices for such things."

"Great very laid back hotel. Staff was super friendly and helpful, the hotel was clean and condo and the rooms were also clean and comfortable. The bar/lounge was a great place to hang out and have a drink with colleagues and breakfast was very good also. Would highly recommend. "
