Really quirky. I really liked it. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Very pet friendly. Lovely area to walk my dog. She really liked the bull. Gas pump minimart restaurant cafe, everything we needed.

Nice historial pieces in the casino. Gasoline on premises. Close to Death Valley. Inhouse restaurant and 24-hour store for food and necessities. Beautiful setting with pond and mountains. Reasonably priced lodging and food.

Our only complaint was that our shower was terrible - the head needed to be replaced due to mineral deposits which restricted water flow. Otherwise the room was fine and facilities were great!

Nice Retreat near Death Valley
Really liked this property! Was a great retreat while spending time in Death Valley. Also very close to Ash Meadows Wildlife Refuge. Affordable, comfortable, clean, quiet, friendly staff. The hot tub jets needed fixing as some didn’t work and a couple others seemed to have all the pressure. Pool had a bit of sand on the bottom where the steps were. Perhaps people didn’t rinse off the desert dust before entering? Lovely little lake area. Had live music on Friday and Saturday nights. But not so loud that you heard it in the room. We will definitely stay here again!

Desert Oasis
This was a really fun place to stay. Any place that has a cat named Jackpot that runs the show is going to be cool. They have done a great deal of work to make the ambience western and fun with lots of statuaries outside & green grass, it’s an oasis in the desert. Families would love this place, there’s a terrific swimming pool.

My stay was very pleasant! The only complaint i had was the bathroom door lock got stuck and wouldnt unlock, it took about 20 tries to unlock it. Other than that the place was a little outdated but clean.

Room was clean. Staff was friendly. Limited assess for those with limited mobility. There is an elevator but you still have to travel 2 sets of 7 stairs. Hallways and hotel lobby and restaurants were too warm. Overall, the hotel was cute and had an abundance of charm. Would definitely go back if guaranteed 1st floor and in cooler weather.

Great proximity to Death Valley, and they have Nevada prices on gas! Their setup is convenient -- restaurant and 24hr market is great for DV travelers. Rates were competitive but unfortunately my room wasn't the cleanest. There was hair from the previous guest in the shower, on the bathroom floor, and around the sink.

This place is a hidden gem within the desert. There is nothing for many miles on either side but this place has everything! The casino and restaurant have a cool vintage feel and overall the hotel is in pretty good shape. The views around and outside the property are great. Overall this was a very unique stay, would definitely recommend.

My husband and I had a cool trip to a Death Valley and we stayed here for one night . Very nice hotel, surrounded by quiet area. Room is very spacious with a great bed. Casino is also in the same building, not too crowded and with perfect air-conditioning .Pet zoo and pool are in a walking distance. Great small restaurant with a nice kitchen and friendly staff in same building. Defiantly will stay here again.
