Quaint Spanish Style Hotel

Pros: Great location and style, room was excellent , well thought out , comfortable bed , lots of amenities.
Cons: Asked two hotel restaurant staff for answers both said they would get right back and they just disappeared , quite annoying. One maybe not two.
The Tapas meals were excellent. The concept of having private dining sit-down area's was very pleasant.

Beautiful hotel, very clean.

Pros: Free Internet
Cons: no late dinning available
The only thing I must say I wasn't vry satisfied with, was the late night in room dinning. Nothing available, we had to order from a pizza hut, after calling a few other places that were also closed. This was at 11:30 pm

Worth a days wait - and close to the convention center.

Pros: Free Internet, near convention ctr
Cons: no one lives downtown
Overbooked the first night but they arranged my room elsewhere for 1 night and upgraded my room for the next two nights. Beautiful historic building with upgraded interior, art and decor. Best option for being near the convention center though downtown is very sleepy at night. Bypass the chains and try the Andaluz.

The hotel had great character.

The staff were very accommodating. Upon check-in I received an upgrade to a higher floor so I wouldn't be bothered by noise from the bar/restaurant/lobby. During my stay the TV quit working in my room and when it couldn't be repaired quickly I received another upgrade- to a suite. There were no self service ice machines and room service was a little slow on the delivery but always very polite and apologetic.

This is a gorgeous hotel.

Pros: Close restaurants, Free Internet
What a jewel! This hotel is a gem that has been rescued from the past. It is also one of the most technologically friendly hotels I have ever stayed in. What a delight!

Wonderful experience

Pros: Close restaurants, Free Internet
Very clean, staff was excellent. The rooms were updated, modern and very comfortable. We enjoyed the live entertainment downstairs and all of the food / service was very good. The hotel itself is in a central location, easy to find and it is nice that they have a parking garage. I would recommend this hotel.

This is a green hotel

Pros: Quiet, great ambiance
Cons: a little too pricey
I very much enjoyed my stay at Hotel Andaluz. We happened to get a great rate but normally the prices are a little too high for business travel for my company. The staff was great but the waitress was little slow in the lobby area where drinks are served. The room was small but very comfortable, clean and the bed was fabulous. This hotel is green so I appreciated that aspect. Overall, it was a wonderful experience.

Run away from Hotel Andaluz, Albuquerque NM!

Save your money, this hotel gets a D! My husband and I went for a company function ( 1. Salad was never served. 2.We had to serve ourselves instead of being served at the table. 3. Coffee and tea were not offered with desert. 4. The "breading pudding" was horrible, more like dough.) We got a sitter and reserved a room so that we could enjoy a night out. BIG MISTAKE! While checking in, the receptionist blurted out her speech so quickly that we felt assaulted by the information. None of it registered because she didn't take the time to be polite. She gave me a card that she had hand written in her 3rd grade penmanship. If you claim to be this mirage of a hotel, you need to pay attention to how your staff greets and interacts with guests. After the company dinner we went to Ibiza, a joke of a club. The DJ packed up and left for the night at *. On a Friday night??!! The DJ and bouncer both told us they were sorry but that some "famous" guest on the 4th floor requested quiet and they were told by the hotel manager to pack up their equipment. So we went back down to the lobby, after paying for overpriced drinks, only to be disappointed again as the salsa music (outdated and mediocre music at that) was just ending. Now midnight, we were bored, frustrated and disappointed. In the morning, we wake up to find out that there is no complementary breakfast as I had been told when I made the reservation. One big fat disappointment after another at this place! When we checked out, we voiced these concerns to the receptionist only for her to discount us. She tried to give us a free breakfast, but after this horrible experience, I would rather check out and pay for my own breakfast at a restaurant where I know I will be served in a timely manner.
