Prolly a bit generous with 4 stars ... The 's --Very well supplied kitchen, woodburning fireplace (very few in the area) spacious and good layout for 4-6 people. Unfortunately, many not so positives --Arrived about 1/2-hr early with intention of unloading car while waiting for rest of our party to arrive for 4pm check-in. Instead, had to find a shovel to scoop 4 inches of (trampled on) snow off the wrap around deck to front door. Called Avant and they accommodated early check-in (since couldn't unload onto the deck) but why didn't whoever walked all over the snow shovel it off? Once in, questioned if unit had even been cleaned. Found long black hairs on pillows, on bath floors and in shower and empty soda bottle under upstairs bed. Then found no parking passes in the HOA packet, only wristbands (which are basically irrelevant in winter). Another call to Avant, who delivered next day and offered to reclean but we were already settled. Another big issue ... the alarm kept beeping. When touched "off" it triggered the front door to alarm when opened. This should just be disabled / disarmed when being rented, or, the owner needs to leave the override code in case of such issues.Anyway ... We're pretty low-maintenance renters but between the many issues, general run-down / dirty condition of property (the carpet just needs to be torn out) and the restrictiveness of the HOA, will not rent here again if return to the area.
