Great staff, clean room, and right next to the ocean. Only bummer was we had to sign a waver to not leave our dog alone in the room. Which ment we had to miss out on the Mendocino botanical gardens night light event.

Staff was friendly. Refrigerator and microwave was convenient to have. And having the EV charger was a nice plus. The room would get a bit hot or musty after awhile and would have to vent it out by opening the patio door. The fireplace did keep us warm at night when it was needed. Overall great stay at Beachcomber motel.

We loved our time at Beachcomber! Staff was welcoming and our pups loved the direct access to trails, dog park, and beach. Did have to drive to all meals but it wasn’t far and was well with a trip into town.

I have a few complaints about this motel that prevents me from giving it a 5 star review. The walls are paper thin between rooms. You can hear everything in the adjoining rooms. Next the room temp. I was there in December and even though thermostat was set to as low as it could go, it was hot. They have a fan in the room, but it runs on a hour timer. First night I kept waking up to reset the timer. The next day I used coffee stirrers to jam the timer on the fan. Finally, the sheets felt like sand paper and the small bed pillows were hard to get comfortable with. Location is great. Amenities were great. Employees were great.

We love staying here for the fire pits and the pet friendly atmosphere along with its location right in the beach and near walking path. Staff were friendly and helpful and rooms were clean. The rooms are very loud though, I could hear the movie my neighbors were playing word for word. Nothing that earplugs cannot help but my only complain is the rooms are super loud.
