Morning Dew Hop Farm is nestled in the rolling hills of Appalachia, approximately 12 miles from Athens, Ohio. Our organic hop farm offers a peaceful and private setting in which to enjoy this cabin's charming interior and modern conveniences. Accommodating up to six guests, the cabin has two bedrooms, one with a queen size bed, the second with a queen size futon. Each bedroom features French doors, which lead to a shared deck at the back of the cottage. Additional futon in living room doubles as a queen bed or a comfy sofa for watching satellite TV. One half bath with toilet and sink; the shower stall and an additional sink are in the laundry room off the kitchen. There is a full kitchen including glass-topped four-burner electric range, full-sized refrigerator, and washer and dryer. Separately controlled heating and air conditioning offered in each room for maximum comfort. Your booking also grants you access to our five-person hot tub, located under an adjacent building. *The hot tub is SHARED, with both cabins granted access. It is centrally located under our spa building, about 40 yards from Fairy House.*

Cellular coverage ranges from zero to none here, but WiFi access is included with your stay. Charming fairy decorations brighten the house and a large fairy house decoration is located in the living room, all handcrafted by a local artist. Located a scenic 45-minute drive from Hocking Hills State Park, and just fifteen minutes from uptown Athens or Ohio University. You may also tour our organic farm and garden, or take a walk through our 23 wooded acres. Pets are welcome with a $25 fee and the farm offers ample parking. Please be aware that UNDISCLOSED PETS WILL INCUR A $100 FEE PER PET, PER NIGHT; UNDISCLOSED GUESTS WILL INCUR A $100 FEE PER GUEST, PER NIGHT.

Beautiful property

My favorite part was waking up in the morning and sitting on the porch swing enjoying the sunrise and the quiet as the deer run across the field. It was absolutely beautiful. Very friendly people. We will be back. Such a relaxing place for a great away.

We had a great time at the hops farm. We did a two week road trip as a family and the kids though that of all the places we stayed, this was the best. Steve is an amazing host, showed us around the farm and explained everything so well. It was a perfect stay and very educational as well. We will be back. Thank you Steve 😁

Total Relaxation.

We wanted a place to unwind and this was perfect. The wi-fi was out due to a previous storm but it ended up being a blessing, just enjoyed the peace and the wonderful sounds of nature. Felt like we were in the deep woods sitting on the back deck, also enjoyed the hot tub with the beautiful natural view! We will defintely visit again!!!

Did I see Bigfoot?

It was a beautiful destination, definitely "off the grid". The wifi was down, when we got there, but I think we ALL needed that. There was LOTS to explore. Plenty of photo ops, and the owner was very hospitable and friendly! He invited us to a party "down the road" to experience country living. Of course, we had to tell him even us "city folk" know what corn hole and moonshine are! All in all, it was a GREAT experience! We loved it and plan on returning. I even gave some friends the info. They are wanting to go check it out!

Peaceful

Nice quiet location with minimal traffic. It's not a fancy hocking hills like cabin. We were looking for a step up from tent camping so it met those needs. Nice to have a fridge/freezer, shower and laundry available. Plenty of space for my pup to run around. Steve is very passionate about the location and will do whatever he can to ensure you have a great stay! We didn't have any cell phone reception or ability to use wifi so be sure to take screenshots of directions beforehand. But that added to the peacefulness. Didn't use the hot tub but it looked really nice.

Not a clean place

The owner Steve met us there at a little past 3pm Friday (check in). He asked us to wait he had a couple things to take care of in the house. He left after like 20 minutes but the house was dirty. I had to sweep the floors which were very dirty. There was only one towel available to us within the house. There was an over powering mildew smell all through the house. The WiFi did not work and no cellphone service. My kids had no way to contact us if there was any emergency even though it said there was WiFi service. We didn’t stay in the house at all just about an hour then had to leave due to that mildew smell. Tried to contact owner Steve and left message but so far haven’t heard from him.

Fairy house was a nightmare

This property is absolutely misleading! It was not cleaned and ready for check in, garbage on the front porch, kitchen had old food on the table and in sink! Smell was unbearable! We left and found a clean hotel to stay in ! Do not book this property, the owner was drunk or high and swore at us because we complained and left!

Great little getaway

Was a great place to hang out and watch/listen to the rain. Nice and private. Only thing I would suggest is keeping extra stock of dish soap and laundry detergent. Atmosphere was great with the decorations. Felt like a home away from home.

Dews cabin

The owner was very nice and helpful although the cabin was not clean ! The toilet had hair all over it the counters were dirty , bugs all in the house and dead bugs on the desk and floors in living room/kitchen. When we first got there the two back doors to the deck were wide open! The chair to the kitchen table was broke and there was paper towels off the roll just thrown in the sink.
