We were in route and needed a place to stay the night. We witnessed less than desirable people. Gun shots were heard several times. Beds were uncomfortable to say the least. If you're looking for a quick place to stay overnight this would be a spot for you. Overall not a 2 star hotel.

Pros: Price
Cons: Serve breakfast if you're going to advertise it.

Scarey run down part of town

Pros: Easy drive to downtown - only 2 blocks away!
Cons: Coffee available and hot water!
Location: 2 or 3 blocks from downtown Proctors theatre but wouldn't walk there!
Few blocks from ambulance service so sirens all night, Run Down part of town, NO HOT WATER and NO COFFEE! Other wise clean, TV worked ..... electrical outlets were smashed.... holes in wall of shower. Would not recommend to anyone I know.

Very comfortable, clean, big, nice hotel

Pros: The staff and the comfort of the room
Cons: The interior decorating.
Location: The location is only about 3 block from the Proctor's Theatre in Schenectady, NY and near Union College.
We've never used this hotel chain, there were no reviews on it .. but once we got there and checked in, it was great. The hotel staff was very kind and helpful. We needed to use a cab service while we were there and they helped us out. The room was a lot bigger than expected and was very, neat, comfortable and satisfying. There was a continental breakfast included, but I believe that it was just bagels and coffee, which I don't do either. The ice machine was broken but they had bags of frozen ice available for you to have. The overall stay was enjoyable for the length of time that we were there. I would recommend to a friend to stay if there were no other available.

Nothing fancy, but no problems either!

As noted by some other reviewers, the hotel is in a downscale area--however my wife and I were never apprehensive.  An East Indian family seems to be running the hotel, and the three employees we encountered were very pleasant.

i felt welcomed

Pros: Free breakfast, Free Internet, Quiet
when we checked out the management was friendly. he asked if we were comfortable, did we sleep well,was the room clean. he was very concerned if we had a good night. of all the hotels we have stayed at he was the only one that was interested in our stay. it made me feel that i was important.
