Excellent stay, they upgraded my single room to double and let me check in early when I arrived at noon. The staff is excellent, everyone at the property would say hello. The spa was wonderful. The rooms are nice and cozy and clean however the bath robes could have been more cleaner as I found other people’s hair on them. That said everything else was great. The rooms were nice and cozy although I really think they should’ve put water for guests in a five star resort there really should’ve been bottled water there is nothing. The breakfast was great many options available breathtaking views the ball was great as well. I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel although I was out for most of the morning and evening for well spent at the hotel.

Arrived at the Hotel and the staff could not be more feiendly and helpful. Absolutely beautiful property with a swiss feel. Room was great , indoor pool with Sauna and showers . Restaurant was amazing and probably our best meal in Switzerland. Perfectly located right at the beginning of all the restaurants and shops in Grindenwald. Walk out the door and two minutes you are in the heart of everything. Walked to Grindenwald First as well. Would highly recommend and absolutely stay there again.

Charming hotel with good breakfast and lots of dining options. 5 min walk from the Grindelwald station. I injured my knee skiing at Jungfrau and went to to local doctor. The hotel was able to send a car to pick me up. They also took our family to the train station at checkout.

The location is excellent amidst the alps but the rooms are far and disconnected. NO lift in some places. The phone was not working. the fridge was locked and no water was kept. Bath shower gel had not been filled up.

The room was very dated. Ancient TV that did not work properly. Leaking faucet. Uncomfortable bed. 7 francs for a small bottle of still water. It looks like the room has not been renovated for at least 10 years.
