Waratah Cottage carries the warmth and detail of its era through every room. Ornamental fireplaces, lofty ceilings, and pressed tin detailing create a sense of history that runs through the home, while thoughtfully updated interiors keep everything feeling fresh and lived-in rather than preserved.

The open-plan kitchen and dining area form the social heart of the home, well-suited to groups looking to spread out and settle in. The kitchen is equipped with a gas cooktop, stone benchtops, and stainless steel appliances, and the large dining table offers plenty of room for shared meals. The separate lounge is a comfortable room to unwind in, with a central TV and plenty of seating.

Outside, a gas BBQ, outdoor dining table, lounge setting, and movable TV unit create a proper outdoor room. A chiminea adds warmth after dark, and a backyard extends beyond the deck.

The primary bedroom offers a king bed, wardrobe, and private ensuite with walk-in shower, double sinks, and toilet. The second bedroom also has a king bed, while the third bedroom houses two single beds with an occasional chair and arcade games, suited to younger guests or flexible arrangements. A main bathroom with bathtub and vanity serves the remaining bedrooms.

A laundry with a washing machine and dryer is included for longer stays. Central heating and cooling ensure your comfort year-round. Driveway parking for one small vehicle is included, with street parking available nearby.

A portacot and high chair are available to hire for a fee. Should you require them, please let us know upon booking.

Please treat the our home as if it were your own. Kindly leave the property in a tidy condition upon departure. Unexpected additional cleaning cost will be forwarded to you.

$200AUD cleaning/deodorising fee charged if guest is found to have been smoking in the property.

CHECK OUT: Check out strictly at 10AM. Additional charges will be incurred for our cleaners time if not vacant upon their arrival. We charge $30AUD for the first 30 minutes, and $60AUD for every 30-minutes after this.

LOST KEYS/LOCKOUTS: Please keep the property key with you all the time during your stay. Lost key/emergency key delivery charges will be $180AUD plus key replacement fee or cost of a locksmith.

LOST PROPERTY: For any items left behind - the host will hold the item for a maximum of 30 days from check-out date after which time they will be considered abandoned and disposed of or donated. During the 30 day collection period, collection can be arranged by way of the guest providing a prepaid postage bag to a supplied address or the item can be collected in person at an agreed time and location.
