Spacious but could do with a fan

We had a 2 bedroom apartment with an upstairs lounge and downstairs bedrooms. The amount of stairs to get into the apartment would be an issue if you were less mobile. It was august and we felt that we had to keep windows closed for security but there was no ceiling fans. The apartment was clean but worn. The beds were clean and comfortable enough. Plenty of storage for clothes etc and a safe in room. Kitchen had all we needed.

A relaxing break

The apartments are amazing value especially as guests can use the facilities in the Atlantic Hotel (pool, pool bar and separate roof terrace with hot tub). I went with my sister and we booked and paid for a 3 person apartment with a sea view, but on arrival we were told one was not available and were allocated a larger 2 level apartment without the view with one covered large balcony and a sunny terrace. The official information on the apartments states all ONE bedroom apartments have a sea view, so there must have been a problem with how the availability was described on Hotels.com. It didn't really matter as the apartment provided us all we needed. In fact there was a view of Mount Teide from the entrance! The decor is dated, but given the price and the amenities, we could not complain. The apartment was cleaned regularly and when we reported a problem with the hot water it was fixed straightaway. The staff at the hotel are amazingly efficient and speak fluent English for which we were grateful. A taxi was booked for our return to the airport as soon as we asked. The only thing that I could fault was the slightly hard bed and lots of steps, which is difficult with a suitcase, though on arrival a kind workman carried mine up! There are shops for provisions and several restaurants in different price ranges - Jamon Jamon (in the Atlantic Hotel) is thoroughly recommended and amazing value. The resort offered all we needed for a relaxing break.

Nice place

Quite basic apartment but very reasonably priced and we could use the facilities at the hotel. Lovely pool area and very helpful staff. Apartment cleaned every day and sheets changed midweek. Quiet small town but good restaurants and bars.

For the price you pay this was outstanding. Needs a fan in the bedroom and the sunbeds look great but are painful. Room overlooks the sea, and right in the middle of all the bars n restaurants and 3 supemarkets all a stone throw away.

Best of both worlds

Staying here you have the best of both worlds- self catering facilities of an apartment and 5 mins walk away free access to Atlantic Hotel's beautiful swimming pool/sun loungers overlooking the sea + jacuzzi. We found the receptionists at the Hotel very helpful and friendly. As a couple the only downside to the apartment was the 2 single beds pushed together, wish there was a double bed option :)

to be honest for the price that we paid "240euro for 1week family stay" it's wonderful place plus we rented a car for 6days for 140 euros which we could travel all over the island very quick . point is you don't have to pay FAT PRICE for a hotel which is "Convenience" ......

Ei vastinetta rahalle!

Huoneisto suoraan 80-luvun alusta, todella kulahtaneet paikat. Hankala lasten kanssa kahdessa huoneet kerroksessa joiden välillä pitkä portaikko. Siivous, vain roskapussi en vaihto. Mistään ei löytynyt luvattua lukollista säilytyslokeroa. Mikroa jäimme myös kaipaamaan. Kylpyhuoneessa oli 3 pientä "näytepussia" suihkugeeliä.

günstig aber doch durchaus akzeptabel

ein guenstiger aufenthalt mit ausgezeichneten moeglichkeiten. es ist keine luxusunterkunft, aber das haben wir auch nicht erwartet. die apartments sind dem hotel atlantic angeschlossen, dass sich ca 200 mtr entfernt befindet. dort gibt es fruehstueck und pool. die unterkunft selbst ist trotz kleiner bewirtung und geschaeften im innenhof ueberraschend ruhig. die zimmer ( 2. etage) sind sauber und gut eingerichtet. stabile klappbetten an der wand koennen 2 weitere personen aufnehmen. die hauptbetten im schlafzimmer sind allerdings in alle richtungen "ausgeleiert". fuer einige naechte gteht das aber. wir empfehlen den kleinen aufpreis fuer die strassenseite mit meerblick. die "hintere" reihe hat blick auf unsere eingangstuer... :) jede menge lokale und shops in der naehe, aber keine laermbelaestigung abends ( 02/19 ). strand fusslaeufig 5 minuten mit viel lava und steinen, aber das ist ueberall so in teneriffa. alles in allem eine guenstige alternative fuer leute, die keinen luxus anspruch haben und kleine fehler uebersehen koennen.
