"10/10 Understand that this is a quintessential rustic cabin in Northern Maine. If you understand that: you will thoroughly enjoy this cabin. A slice of Maine cultural history. The property manager has excellent communication and was so kind to mail my daughter’s clothing back to us! The property is everything you would ever want and need for an isolated cabin on a lake. I didn’t mind the 45 min drive to Acadia and back, as it showcases the diversity of Northern Maine (farms, lobsters/sea, forests). "

"The location is amazing, quiet, peaceful, relaxing! We were close to Bar Harbor and Acadia but able to empty the pace and serenity off the lake that sits at your back door. Beautiful accommodations and very comfortable bed. This place made for an amazing honeymoon!"

"We loved this place. VERY clean and fresh. Well stocked kitchen if you want to cook. Easy check-in. Very secluded location so we didn't get any unwanted traffic. One bed on the main floor wasn't big enough for two of us, but there was another full-sized bed upstairs (and several single beds). This was a great place for a couple or a small family. We would stay here again without a doubt."

"We had a nice time. Property was clean and welcoming. Host was responsive. The kitchen had all we needed to make dinner and pack lunches for next day's adventure. Sink water was labeled non-potable but host provided adequate water cooler jugs which was nice. The property this cabin is on is quite expansive and we wish we had more time to explore it. "
