The Dean Galway
"Room was clean and the staff were great to us. Hotel’s location was also great. 5 minute walk to the city centre, train, bus station, and Lidl (supermarket). Only thing that could have been better is a little bench for luggage and possibly another chair. We were two people so it would get crammy ..."

Maldron Hotel Shandon Cork
"While the location is good for city centre, the lack of air conditioning in the bedroom was a disaster. The day itself was not even a hot summers day, but the room was so hot, we couldn't sleep. The room had a fan, but it just didn't do much for lowering the temperature"

"Great place for young couples on city break or mingling professionals. Wouldn’t recommend to older couples or to families. Lounge is a good vibe though table service could be more attentive. Beds are a bit soft for my liking personally. Showers are amazing!"

"The air conditioning unit kept us up for most of the night as it was making a tapping noise all night. We had to turn it off. The room smelled like sewer. I would not stay here again."

Clayton Hotel Galway
"The hotel has a beautiful lobby and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The common areas made a great first impression, and the service we received was good. Unfortunately, there were several issues with our room that significantly impacted our experience. The bathtub appeared to have a large yellow stain running down it, which looked unclean and was quite off-putting. The shower was also very difficult to use because the water temperature constantly fluctuated between extremely hot and very cold, making it uncomfortable to shower. The biggest issue was a door stopper positioned immediately inside the room near the entrance. It seemed unnecessarily placed and was difficult to notice. I struck my toe on it very hard, causing it to bleed, and I am fairly certain it was broken as a result. This injury had a significant negative impact on the remaining two days of our trip to Ireland. I strongly recommend that the hotel either remove the door stopper or relocate it closer to the wall to prevent future guests from being injured. While the lobby and staff were excellent, the room maintenance and safety concerns unfortunately detracted from what could have been a much better stay."
