I arrived early and was told was too early which was fine. I felt increasingly uneasy waiting around, the vibe heavy, and overall, didn't feel safe (the ONLY time I felt this in Japan, not because of the locals but because of visitors.) Shuttle to and from Ferry. Great views from roof top.

Petit Hotel Corinthian
Take the local bus to the Hote. The view along the bus ride is amazing. The hotel is pretty far from the Ferry Terminal. The hotel itself is an elegant house on hill. The room is very clean and very well kept. The hotel and restaurant was very elegantly put together.

Rishiri Fuji Kanko Hotel
The hotel is located just across the road from the main ferry terminal. Staff members provided service that felt personal despite the language barrier. The hotel also offers an amazing dinner spread.

Tanakaya Hinageshikan
We stayed for 2 nights to climb Rishiri dake. It is more like a hotel than a pension. Staff is casual and polite correspondence. Dinner was delicious both for dinner and breakfast. The washing machine was available for free.
