"Location was great and the room was quiet. It has an elevator which we appreciated and a refrigerator which we put to good use. I did think the room would be bigger. It seems the picture for a standard room was for a different room not the standard room so there was some misdirection there in advertising. The staff was extremely helpful. They get 5 stars."

"We had a lovely view of the river from the spacious family room. It was the most comfortable bed of our entire trip. We also did the whiskey/brewery tour which was nice to have it so close to our stay. We hadn't been able to fit in a whiskey tour elsewhere. Many restaurants were walkable. Great location."

"The staff were amazing; I twisted my ankle and they went above and beyond in providing me ice, transporting me from our cabin to the restaurant and checkout - I cannot praise the staff enough. They made my time at Isle of Skye pleasure. The cabins are incredible - the view of Portree and the bay was phenomenal. Also, they are quiet - no listening to noisy rooms or someone walking on the floor above - absolute peace and quiet. Our stay at Bracken Hide was one of the highlights of our trip to Scotland."

"My stay was fleeting, I didn’t use the amenities but everything looked provided for and especially families, there appeared to be lots to keep kids entertained. I only had need to speak with 2 members of staff, they were both professional. I didn’t have any food at the hotel, I chose to go into Aviemore for dinner and breakfast"
