"Valkyrie is a charming cabin deep in the woods. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. The walk down to the river is nice and you can hear it from the deck. We enjoyed the grill and hot tub. An outdoor dining table would be a nice addition, but otherwise well furnished. Robert gave good, detailed directions to the cabin which were easy to follow. The cabin is only about 10 minutes to Desoto State Park where we enjoyed some nice trails and waterfalls. (Indian Falls, Laurel Falls and Lost Falls) Overall a great cabin for getting away from it all and enjoying nature, peace and quiet."
