"Clean rooms, had the place to ourselves. The beds were not comfortable. My husband and his brothers had a great time fishing. Quiet place to stay."

Allegheny Springs
"Great experience. Loved having a kitchen and table to eat. Great train ride experience and wonderful customer service. Love the store at bottom of mountain as well."

Rimfire Lodge
"There was quite a bit of hair in the tub around the drain when we first checked in. It was kind of icky to see that. The room itself was nice though. I'd go back when I want to visit Snowshoe, WV or the surrounding area. The property is right in the middle of the village, which is nice. Close to ..."

"The room was a dated and basic furniture was uncomfortable. Dining options are limited to one restaurant and a coffee shop. There were 2 fire alarms on back-to-back nights and when we went to leave, the parking lot was not plowed"

Mountaintop Condos
"It was halfway clean. The last night there it cooled off so we were able to sleep UNTIL 3am when the smoke detector battery started beeping. The first two nights were miserable to sleep. "The room was clean. BUT it took an act of congress to get into the room. I received NO INSTRUCTIONS on how or where to check in. I did a virtual check in, which supposedly gives you this Bluetooth connection to unlock your room door. This worked 25% of the time. It once took me 30 minutes to get ..."

Corduroy Inn and Lodge, Trademark Collection by Wyndham
"The mountain is a ghost town at this time of year, which meant I got to stay in a very nice place for a very reasonable fee. The guy who checked me in could have been a little friendlier, and there was NO ONE THERE when I wanted to check out. So I don't give the staff high grades. But the room was truly excellent! It really exceeded my expectations."
