Jinyu Inn
The single room I had was very old and run down. The bathroom was musty. The wifi was low quality. It was probably the original building. The staff spoke almost no English. Other rooms may be different.

There was less than a quarter bag of toilet paper when we arrived . Everything felt damp. It’s obvious that owner tried to make everything clean but the property is just old. Fun Shuili B&B
We stayed here for one night while traveling from Sun Moon Lake to Alishan. The room was spacious and very clean, and the breakfast was excellent. The owner was extremely polite and provided many helpful tips and suggestions for our travel plans, which we truly appreciated.

Very nice owner. Drive to and from the city center. Allows you to taste their homegrown tea. Serves breakfast in the morning. Walls are thin though so you can hear the neighbours.
