Sofitel Agadir Thalassa Sea & Spa
"My experience at this hotel was extremely disappointing and far from what I would expect from a luxury property. On arrival, one staff member took all three of our passports, completed the check-in process, and told us everything was fine and that our room would be ready shortly. However, when we returned, another employee informed us that our king room for two people could not accommodate a third guest, despite us never being told this beforehand. I explained that I was willing to pay any additional fee required, but the staff member was dismissive and rude, forcing us to pay extra for a so-called “upgraded” room. Ironically, the upgraded room was clearly still meant for only two people, as it originally had two twin beds with a rollaway bed added and was only stocked with amenities for two guests. We had to contact room service ourselves just to request basic additional items such as towels and a robe for the third guest, making the original room we booked seem far more suitable and comfortable. The check-in process became even more frustrating due to the rude and passive-aggressive behavior from another employee named Munia, who made both me and my mother feel very unwelcome. To make matters worse, the room contained moths, which made it uncomfortable to sleep in. While I understand that bugs can sometimes happen and may not be the hotel’s fault, it would have been appreciated if the room had been properly checked. Overall the poor customer service made our stay disappoin"
