"Great Location, my room was a single bed one with no bathroom or shower (it was down the hall separate but always clean and the shower was good). There was a small sink within the room which was nice. TV did not work but I did not need TV…just tried to turn it on to make noise. Fresh coffee milk ..."

"The best part was the night time view from our window. And now the reality of actually staying there, Arctic Mary Rooms "Hotel". 1. Nice front door, with a pile of junk ceiling high at the side. 2. Needed a torch to operate key code pad outside, making a loud noise with every touch. 3. Boots strewn ..."

The Dock 69°39 by Scandic
"The hotel is very nicely positioned on the edge of the town, maybe five minutes walk from the main street and tourist attractions. Although we didn't book excursions through the hotel, there was plenty of information around the hotel if we had wanted to. The staff were always very pleasant and helpful, especially in the restaurant downstairs. The breakfast is very varied in the restaurant, with a little bit of everything available ranging from local cuisine to American pancakes and English breakfast. The bed in the room was very comfortable, and provided several nights of good sleep. The only thing I can mark the hotel down on is the cleanliness of the windows on the higher floors, as this spoils the excellent views somewhat. The highlight of the stay was undoubtedly the superb restaurant on the 10th floor, The Upper Dock. Our waiter Nathaniel was an absolute delight, very informative with his information on the food, and made some great recommendations. If you dine here and it is still on the menu, you will not be disappointed by the reindeer. I would very much recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Tromso."
