Heritage Hotel
"Heritage Hotel is a nice hotel with limited amenities, that gives you access to Winneba and is off the main highway that is being built (will come back to the highway). We had booked an 8 day stay, with 3 rooms - standard and executive. but, our flight was delayed and we lost two days of our stay. The hotel was accommodating and gave us a free dinner plus upgraded my room to a deluxe hotel room executive suite- it has a French bath…didn’t use it but nice touch! The rooms and baths have been recently upgraded. There were a few issues at the start but it all got sorted out expediently. Example: the AC was not working the next day - this was because we had the fan and the AC running simultaneously - this was fixed. Our stay came with complementary breakfast- do note that if you book a standard/basic room, you only get one breakfast, even if there are two people in the room. Highly recommend the suites -comfy beds and spacious rooms and toiletries plus robes! The highway- this is the major downside - it is currently being built, creating a lot of red dust that gets everywhere, in your car, hotel, on the floor, everywhere. Due to poor planning, the highway construction is going poorly - the road that all cars drive on is littered with potholes, uneven roads. It makes for a very horrible drive. But once the highway is completed, these things should go away. Shoutout to the fantastic staff (Isaac,Mary, Charlotte, and the cleaning team)! It’s not a 5-star, but it holds its own."
