Housed in a repurposed 19th-century brewery, this luxury riverfront hotel sits between the San Antonio River and the trendy, food-focused Pearl complex. The brewery’s clock tower and storehouses have been repurposed into atmospheric guest rooms and common areas. La Cantera Resort & Spa
Situated on 550 acres in San Antonio’s scenic Hill Country, just across the road from Six Flags Fiesta Texas, this family-oriented luxe resort offers rooms with a kitchen and smart TV, plus room service featuring kid-friendly snacks. A Kids’ Club provides supervised care for ages 4 to 12. On Saturdays, a Naturalist Program co-developed with the San Antonio Zoo and San Antonio Botanical Gardens teaches children about the area’s native trees, cacti, and wildlife—think raccoons, armadillos, deer, wild pigs and possums—that share the resort grounds.
