The bed was very comfortable and the bedding inviting, but the Staff was amazing! My husband was in a lot of pain from a hip injury and we needed ice at 1 AM for an ice pack. The night staff was so incredibly graceful in finding some. Thank you - this is what makes for repeat customers!

This hotel in Zurich is perfectly located, making it an ideal choice for both sightseeing and convenience. It’s right near the light rails and trains, which makes getting around the city incredibly easy. Within a short, easy eight-minute walk, you’ll find a variety of shops and food options, and the surrounding area is filled with restaurants and stores as well. Everything you need is truly right at your doorstep, making this a perfect location. The hotel itself was very clean and comfortable. The rooms were well maintained, and the overall atmosphere made for a relaxing and pleasant stay. A nice added bonus is that the hotel even has a room where you can store your luggages after checkout. While the room is not monitored, we left our belongings there for a couple of hours and returned to find everything exactly as we left it, which was very reassuring.

The Hotel was almost perfect. Very clean. Very convenient to almost everything. Easy walking distance (1/2 mile or less) to a number of tourist stops., shopping, and many many restaurants. And next to the tram/trains as well as walkable to the main train station. The staff were amazing. Helpful and friendly. I didn't try the restaurant. The downside: I was on the 1st Story (2nd floor if your in USA). The street noise was enough to wake me up. It's probably not such an issue on upper floors, but on the bottom level, it was a bit frustrating.

This is the only hotel in Europe I've ever stayed in that didn't offer free breakfast with your stay. And, their breakfast was very expensive. We did not eat there. They told us when we checked in that there's always coffee avaliable at the table near the front desk, but there was no coffee either morning. We liked the location very much.

The hotel is old so it has some oddities. The rooms are large and clean but they still use physical keys. The elevator is about 3' x 4' and you can't get 2 people with 2 large suitcases in it. On the plus side however, the rate is reasonable and the location is outstanding. You are close to the central train station and there are trams right outside the hotel but we didn't even need to use one. Almost all of the sights in Old Town are an easy walk so it is a good choice if you are just visiting for a few days and would rather spend time exploring than riding on trams. There are tons of good restaurants just a short walk We were there for 3 nights and saw 4 Christmas markets (including the signing Christmas Tree) and all were within easy walking distance. Less than $30 Uber ride to the Airport.
