Staff was extremely rude. I arrived few hours before checking and asked to used the restroom. The response I got was they had no public restroom. I explained I was going to be a guest and waiting to check in in a few hours and even then they denied. Once I got the room the furnace was extremely loud making difficult to have a good sleep. Clean but 'dated'

Having stayed at this property many times over the past several years, but then with a hiatus, it was surprising but then not how this hotel now shows its age. Primarily, there is an 'aged-odor,' like the paint, carpets, and woodwork (wardrobes in-room, banister, trimwork, etc.). However, the meeting area, and diningroom were clean and tidy; the desk-service great. The nicest part for me, also 'older,' is the AUTOMATIC ENTRY-DOOR at front entrance, ALWAYS a plus when going in and out with handsful of luggage and personal belongings, and due to windy weather!
