Give a little something back

Would be great if water was offered in the rooms considering how expensive one nights stay is

I appreciated the suite but it was next door to the housekeeping closet and the housekeepers were very noisy slamming cabinets, banging things and crashing their carts on the doorway. I was awakened several mornings. The walls and ceilings are very thin. You can hear people walking and dropping, moving things. We had a citywide blackout that happened appx 1pm and lasted fir several hours It came back on around dinnertime to only go out again. It was cold and totally black. The hotel offered no flashlights or dinner snacks. They did offer a few snacks at the first nlackout after guests complaining. The second was in the middle of dinner. They wouldnt even serve wine and bill to your room later, let alone offer something to eat. The next day, business as usual. You would think they'd offer complimentary breakfast since most guests couldnt get out to eat. Most hotels offer a city guide and tv guide for guests. They did not. Didnt know there was a delivery pizza place until we saw one being delivered. No courtesy coffee or water. This place was very rural and without a car or taxi, you really didnt have a way of knowing what was walkable. The desk staff didnt offer any information. The heated sauna was broken and tge steam room and showers were dirty without towels. The lobby wasnt cleaned. Peoples empty drinks laying around. The carpet not vaccumed. The activity brochure rack out of date with minimum variety. The shuttle driver at 5am had no words for the guests. Just rude.

Hardwares are just fine, although I feld WIFI is sometimes too slow to use for serious purpose such a remote meeting. Service seems to be in need of improvement. I put "Please clean my room" tag on the door at 10am only to find out the room was not ready after 3pm although I know the room next door was clearned early. I had to go down to service staff floor for immediate cleaning but only after 1 hour or so did the cleaning was started. We had a long power outage. That is not the hotal fault, but the floor way to the room was in completely dark and we needed iphone light to see the way. Also no explanation was posted in the lobby about the outage. Unless you search the net by yourself, we could not figure out what was going on. Even though the outage was not just hotel but townwide issue, the hotel is still responsible to explain to the guests what happens and if restaurant would operate or not more clearly. When in irregular situations, readiness of staff would be tested.
