Bedroom and bathroom were clean and felt recently refurbished. Staff were all friendly. On line "check-in" made arrival very easy. On a Monday evening, restaurant serves half price meals which were very good. Only slight problem was that my wife had difficulty completely turning off the shower tap.

Check in is 4 o’clock which is pretty late , tried to check in at 3 , was told in no uncertain manner it’s 4 ! In my experience , most hotels would check if the room was ready , the man didn’t bother , wasn’t interested , it turns out the room was ready ! Very poor !
